Hailing from the UK, ‘Handsome Scott’ holds the rank of Lv5 in Krav Maga and Black Belt in Shingitai Jujitsu, a form of grappling that combines throws, takedowns and ground-fighting. Scott has taught Ground-fighting and Krav Maga classes as Lead Instructor for Triangle Krav Maga’s Cary studio for years. As one of the Founders of the RESIST counter-abduction and E&E program, he’s trained law enforcement, women and persecuted Christians in the Middle East. If you train under him, don’t be afraid to ask for a translation of his “British-isms”. You wouldn’t be the first.

Michael Bank
Michael Bank is a 5th degree black belt in American karate, A former military hand to hand combat instructor, and combat veteran. He has not only a black belt in martial arts, but a black belt in business. He runs one of the most successful martial arts studios in the country teaching over 450 students per week in Columbia SC. He coaches several martial arts studios to become more profitable and help school owners achieve financial freedom. He is a published author as an expert on anti-bullying, and was recently on the cover of the Martial Arts Success Magazine.

Glenn Mitchell
As AKM’s Shield Training Supervisor, Glenn understands the needs of military and law enforcement, firsthand. He has served for many years as a Defensive Tactics instructor for local law enforcement in North Carolina and was awarded ‘Officer of the Year’ by the Cary Police Dept. in 2012. When not chasing bad guys or mentoring youth at work, he loves spending time with his family, traveling and teaching others how to defend themselves.

Terry Bullman
Terry Bullman has been involved in martial arts and combat sports for over 20 years. A Second Degree Black Belt in Krav Maga, he has also competed professionally as a boxer, kickboxer and cage fighter and helped develop the popular television show ‘The Human Weapon’ which aired on the History Channel. As an event instructor his seminars bring as much creativity as experience to our students.
